frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a strap-on and a strap-on dildo?

Have you ever wondered what the difference is between a strap-on and a strap-on dildo? After all, both are often colloquially referred to as strap-on dildos. But the difference is actually quite simple: a strap-on is the whole harness including the dildo or vibrator. A strap-on dildo, on the other hand, is just the dildo itself, which can be attached to the harness – only in combination does the dildo then become a strap-on dildo. This distinction is particularly important if you decide on a harness to which you want to attach various strap-on dildos.

Can any dildo be used as a strap-on dildo?

Even if you have a wide selection of strap-on dildos: You can’t use just any dildo in your strap-on. Strap-on harnesses often have a ring or opening at the front through which the dildo is attached. For your new strap-on dildo to be compatible with the harness, the circumference of the dildo must fit the strap-on. Secondly, strap-on dildos have a wide base so that they are securely attached and cannot slip through the hole. This is why most dildos with a suction base are also suitable as strap-on dildos. You can find out whether a dildo can also be used for strap-ons in the respective product description.

What different strap-on dildos are there?

Our strap-on dildos leave nothing to be desired! You have the choice between different colors and shapes. Realistic strap-on dildos with realistic veins, glans and testicles are just as much a part of our range as G-spot dildos, which provide extra stimulation for your insides. There are also strap-on dildos that can be filled with a cum-like liquid for a particularly realistic experience. Strap-on dildos that can be worn by men are hollow on the inside and can therefore be interesting for men who want to last longer during sex or have erection problems.

How do I use a strap-on dildo correctly?

Basically, there is no right or wrong answer to this question. As with all sex toys, there are practically no limits to your creativity and whatever you both like is allowed.

If you are using a strap-on dildo for the first time, you should opt for a version with a smooth surface and as natural a shape as possible. Also make sure that the strap-on dildo fits snugly around your waist. If the strap-on dildo is to be used during pegging, it is important to use sufficient lubricant. Unlike the vagina, there is no lubrication in the anus. Penetration should be as gentle as possible – it’s best to feel your way in slowly at first. It may also be advisable to use a strap-on dildo with a smaller diameter at the beginning to avoid anal pain.

The vagina must also be sufficiently moist during vaginal sex with a strap-on dildo. This can be achieved by stimulating the breasts or clitoris, for example. Many different positions are also possible. Doggy style, the missionary position, the spooning position or the riding position are particularly popular.
